You can achieve your RYA Yachtmaster Offshore in 90 days with this highly focused and intensive training course.
Achieve your RYA Yachtmaster in the warm and challenging tidal waters of Gibraltar, Spain and Portugal with mild winters, reliable winds and often clear blue skies in December, summers are hot and balmy fun too.
From our base in the Ocean Village Resort Gibraltar you will sail as far north west as Lisbon, and as far east as Ibiza, and everything between. Your course is designed to be challenging, engaging and enjoyable regularly visiting a variety of ports in 4 countries, in 2 continents, practicing customs procedures as a regular almost daily occurrence.
Situated less than 70m from the yachts, the Allabroad shore side facilities provide, dedicated training rooms, VHF radio practice room, Radar simulators and 3 x full size marine diesel training engines.
In order to closely maintain standards, we provide all the facilities, and hold all the RYA sailing and MCA maritime accreditations in house. This means we are able to deliver every single element of your course to a high standard, without outsourcing.
There are numerous reasons to achieve your Yachtmaster Offshore so whatever your goals, we have a course for you.
For some the Yachtmaster qualification is purely for personal use and in this case the 'leisure' only version is all that is required.
However, if you would like to work as a professional yacht captan commercially in the yachting industry you will need the Professional version including the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency approved STCW Basic Safety Training package, and more.
In all cases, whatever version you choose, as we are both UK RYA and UK MCA approved we can provide all the training you will need in house.
You may be eligilble for finance or funding for this course.
A note from the RYA Website:
A commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence will enable you to work as a Master of commercial vessels of up to 200gt in category 1 to 6 waters - that is up to 150 miles from a safe haven.
This Certificate of Competence can used commercially in its own right, or as a pre-requisite for the MCA's Officer of the Watch qualification, which enables you to work worldwide on vessels of up to 3000gt.
