Pre course requirements
The RYA Day Skipper Motor course requires RYA Day Skipper theory this can be completed online prior to the course or you can book the Day Skipper Express course as this covers both theory and practical elements.
What's covered?
The RYA Day Skipper Practical course covers basic navigation, berthing, course shaping safety. We also look closely at the onboard systems to ensure that we can change fuel filters if they become blocked and bleed the fuel system. Essential knowledge for motoryacht skippers.
The yacht
The Prestige 46 has the prefect balance of luxury and manoeuvrability, with all the power from twin 480 hp turbocharged Volvo Penta engines at the tip of your fingers you really get the feel of a larger motor cruiser. This is, we believe, one of the best most luxurious training vessels around.
