Gibraltar lends itself to yachting, it's fast becoming one of the all year round favourites for completing your RYA Sailing course. Our customers make the most of the local:
- Tides. Learn to sail in strong tidal streams - comparable to the UK. You will sail across one of the most tidal stretches of water in the world, the Gibraltar Strait.
- Weather. Usually great all year round, with good sailing winds available; we are only an hour or so from Tarifa, the windiest place in Europe!
- Diversity. your RYA sailing experience should be fun, and memorable, where else can you visit 3 countries and 2 continents in 5 days..
- Challenges. Experience similar sea traffic to that of the English channel, mooring up is the more challenging 'stern to' but with much better weather!
Facilities
Established back in 1999 we have over the years established clearly what our customers value the most, as such we now aim to offer our customers the very best:
- Instruction. RYA Full Yachtmaster Instructors with years of experience will ensure your time with us is engaging and informative.
- Yachts. Newer yachts, whole fleet replaced with brand new Jeanneau 389's in 2017 with Radar / Chart nav, twin helms, large cockpit area; ideal for training.
- Recognition. We hold dual UK RYA & UK MCA accreditation, running courses from the RYA sail cruising scheme, Powerboat and shore-based classes, and MCA STCW courses too.
- Shore-based. Recently extended - 200m2 shore-base in the heart of the magnificent Ocean Village Marina in Gibraltar, just 50 metres from the yachts.

Royal Yachting Association Accredited Centre
Allabroad founded in 1999 in Gibraltar is accredited by the UK Royal Yachting Association to deliver RYA Sailing, RYA Motor, RYA Powerboat Advanced, RYA Yachtmaster theory, Diesel Engine, First Aid, RYA VHF, and Radar courses.
Allabroad deliver RYA courses all year round from Gibraltar visiting Spain, and Portugal.
Maritime and Coastguard Agency Accredited Centre
Allabroad Ltd is accredited by the UK MCA to deliver STCW Basic safety Training and updates, Medical First Aid, Medical care, Advanced Fire Fighting, Efficient Deck Hand, Ships Security Officer, Proficiency in designated security duties, and more. All our MCA Acreditations are listed on the uk.gov website.

Allabroad Sailing Academy in Gibraltar is a member of The British Marine Federation, and as such is signed up to an extensive Code of Practice offering customers additional confidence the service provided will be the best.
