RYA Day Skipper Express Sailing Courses

Sail on brand new, 38 foot, sailing yachts, enjoy the year round sunshine, tidal waters and see the sights, make the most of your Day Skipper. This course includes both the theory and practical in just 9 days and is run from our purpose designed facility in Gibraltar. Share the experience with friends, whole boat options available...

We offer warm weather and a very warm welcome. Gibraltar is just a reasonably inexpensive 3 hour flight from the UK and we are only a 5 minute walk from the Gibraltar airport

Great facilities

Allabroad offer dedicated shore-base facilities, private classrooms, reception area and lounge, open every day. There is somewhere to relax and store your bags before and after your course. If you've extra baggage you do not want to take on board this can be stored here.

Prime Location

Your brand new training yacht is a Jeanneau 389, moored in the heart of the magnificent Ocean Village Marina Bay. New yachts are more reliable and safer than your usual old and worn out 'school boat'. All our sail fleet was brand new in June 2016 There is no time in the day skipper course to miss a days sailing.

Spacious interiors

Bright modern accommodation is included onboard from Friday 1800 so you're bright and ready for training Saturday morning at 0900. Course finishes the following Sunday at 1600 and there is a luggage hold available on this final day.

Individual course prices include:
- Training on more reliable & safer brand new yachts.
- Maximum of 4 candidates per yacht (more hand on helm time)
- Full time access to our dedicated training rooms and crew lounge
- Three cooked evening meals (many schools only offer 2)
- Continental Breakfasts throughout
- Lunches during practical days at sea
- Bedding in the form of freshly laundered duvets and pillows
- £890 per person November to March
- £950 per person April to October
- £2300 for a private yacht for 2 - 5 people for the five day practcial + £340 per person for the four theory days.
